Meet Dr. Omar Faraj Dr. Omar Faraj is a Board-Certified Oral & Maxillofacial Surgeon who brings exceptional academic training and a deep commitment to patient care to Chicago Oral Surgery and Implant Center. A Chicago-area native, Dr. Faraj earned his Bachelor of Science in Biological Sciences, Cum Laude, from the University of Illinois at Chicago before going on to complete his Doctor of Dental Medicine at the University of Pittsburgh School of Dental Medicine, where he graduated in the top 10% of his class and was honored with the AAOMS Outstanding Dental Student Award.Dr. Faraj then completed his full six-year residency in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at the University of Nebraska Medical Center, during which he also earned his Doctor of Medicine — a distinction that reflects the advanced medical and surgical training that sets oral and maxillofacial surgeons apart. This dual-degree background allows Dr. Faraj to manage the full scope of complex surgical cases with the depth and precision his patients deserve. Dr. Faraj practices the full scope of oral and maxillofacial surgery, with a dedication to delivering outstanding surgical outcomes through the highest standards of patient care. He is board certified by the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery and is an active member of the American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons and the American Dental Association. Throughout his training, Dr. Faraj demonstrated a commitment to serving underserved communities, providing care at Special Olympics events and free dental clinics in the Chicago area.   |
